🇾🇪 Yemen
— Two people were injured as a result of Saudi aggression targeting a police station in Saada city, Yemen.
— AnsarAllah forces reportedly captured Jabal Al-Han (Han Mountain), overlooking the last remaining road into Taiz city. Reports said the road has become practically unusable for PLC military forces. Separate reports initially described the capture of Jabal Han as unconfirmed, while other reports later stated that the mountain had come under AnsarAllah control.
— PLC forces recaptured Samer Fortress in the southeastern direction of Taiz.
— AnsarAllah forces captured Adinah on Jabal Habashi, northeast of Taiz.
— AnsarAllah forces launched a new offensive to capture At Turbah, a vital town connecting most of Taiz’s supply roads.
— Yemeni forces continued to advance and deploy in areas of Taiz Governorate.
— AnsarAllah forces advanced to the Al-Zakirah area, around 6 kilometers from At Turbah on the Taiz–Aden road. Reports said AnsarAllah forces made large-scale advances south of At Turbah over the previous 24 hours, with most of the gains occurring during the previous two to three hours. The reported advances included the capture of most of the Bani Omar heights, Jabal Jirdad, Jabal Rasin, Bani Muhammad, Al-Ja’asha, and Az-Za’azi’. PLC sources confirmed AnsarAllah’s presence in Az-Zakirah, approximately 5.3 kilometers southwest of At Turbah.
— A large-scale Yemeni military operation continued across the southern and western fronts of Taiz Governorate. Over the previous 48 hours, Yemeni Armed Forces and Popular Committees reportedly advanced on four fronts. On the southern front, Yemeni forces moved beyond the highland barriers of Jabal Rasin and Jabal Jirdad and cleared surrounding villages, including Rasin, Bani Muhammad, Al-Za’azi’, and Al-Kuwayrah. Battles remained ongoing, with Yemeni forces advancing toward the Ashah and Samdan highlands. They also cleared Dab’ Al-Dakhil and Jabal Aham, while Mafraq Al-Safiyah and the western Taiz–Aden road remained under the control of Islah Party militants and other Saudi-led coalition forces.
— On the southeastern front, Yemeni forces, with the support of tribes from Sama’a District, advanced and captured the town of Hawrah and other villages around the district center. Control of the Sama’a highlands gives Yemeni forces a stronger fire and field position and places pressure toward the Al-Silw front and ultimately At Turbah.
— On the Jabal Habashi front, an attack several days earlier by rapid reaction forces of the resigned government on the eastern Al-Kadha front was reportedly defeated. Major General Muhammad Salem Al-Khawlani, commander of those forces, was reportedly killed by Yemeni fighters. Yemeni forces subsequently expanded their advances in Jabal Habashi and cleared Al-Zatan, Bani Bakari, and Madhafah. The advances continued, with Yemeni forces reportedly capturing the villages of Al-Maqatin, Anaqib, and Al-Arari.
— On the Taiz city axis, Yemeni forces reportedly took control of the important Al-Han height. Reports said control of the height places the western entry routes into Taiz city and the movements of Saudi-led coalition forces west of the city under Yemeni military observation and fire.
— Saudi airstrikes targeted Az-Za’azi’ and Az-Zakirah, south of At Turbah. Initial reports indicated that PLC forces were launching counterattacks in Az-Zakirah following the reported advances by AnsarAllah forces.
