🇮🇷 🇮🇷 🫥 | Full message of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution on the occasion of Sacred Defense Week and the anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah (1/2):

In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

“And We certainly sent Moses with Our signs, saying, ‘Bring your people out of darkness into light and remind them of the Days of Allah.’”

The beginning days of the month of Mehr remind us of the Days of Allah and the great and enduring phenomenon of the eight-year heroic defense of the Iranian nation during the First Imposed War. In those days, the warm rays of the sun of the Revolution spread across the land of Iran, creating a pleasant sense of national solidarity and loyalty to the school and path of revolutionary Islam. As a result, the ice of old and new domination and colonialism was beginning to melt.

In those days, some people in Iran remembered the events of more than two decades earlier, the hostility of the colonial powers, the events surrounding the nationalization of the oil industry, and the American coup. Others had heard accounts of those events, while many had personally experienced what foreign domination over the affairs of our country had brought upon it. But the days before that were dark and gloomy days, when the ambassadors of the arrogant governments would dictate their do’s and don’ts to the Shah of the country, and he would implement them, willingly or unwillingly, until the great Revolution of the Iranian nation, under the leadership of Imam Khomeini, overturned that entire system.

Those dark days, through this Revolution, gave way to the bright days of the establishment of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This was extremely difficult for the hegemonic powers who had their eyes on the wealth of this land and had spent years committing various injustices against its people in order to take that wealth for themselves. Therefore, from then on, they devoted all their efforts to turning the course of the great river of the revolutionary nation back toward its previous direction, and the First Imposed War was their most important action during the first decade of the blessed life of the Islamic Republic.

From the heart of the fire of that war, which had been ignited by the anti-people Ba’ath Party under the illusion of a war lasting only a few days and an easy victory, the Islamic system rose like a phoenix, more vigorous and stronger than before, with a louder voice and a higher flight than previously; and this became the enduring characteristic of this system in the subsequent enemy-created events.

Those days when the enemy had imposed its own servants upon this nation and was exercising a new form of colonialism were transformed, through the blessing of the Revolution and the raising of the banner of Islam and jihad amid the Imposed War, into glorious days. Even 38 years after its end, when one observes every detail of those events and the sincere accounts of its survivors, role models emerge like shining stars upon the history of our country, each teaching lessons of worship, courage, resistance, morality, and humanity.

Those days when, at the beginning of the attacks by the extensions of the hegemonic system, our country had inherited empty hands from the Taghut regime in defending itself against many threats have now, through the establishment of truth and divine assistance, become days when the hegemonic aggressors themselves—not their extensions—seek shelter from the attacks of the fighters of Islam and plead for an end to the war.

The days to which they wish to return our country were days filled with backwardness, humiliation and disgrace, dependence, and Iran’s disrepute in the Islamic world. The days in which we now live are filled with progress, dignity, independence, and the highest degree of standing in the Islamic world and indeed throughout the world. Today, some consider us the fourth superpower in the world.
