— After the Iraq War, the engineering crews from Isfahan built Najaf International Airport at an impressive pace, along with many of Najaf’s hotels, bridges, and streets. However, today the management of Najaf International Airport prevented passengers from boarding an aircraft belonging to the Iranian airline Meraj.

Following this action, the aircraft returned to Mashhad empty. This is shamelessness. The weak-willed statesmen of Iraq should not forget what Iranians did for their neighboring country.

Keep in mind that the current Prime Minister of Iraq is a born Shia, appointed by the so-called Shia Coordination Framework. So, if someone turns this into a sectarian argument and says it is always the Sunnis because of Takfir, no. It becomes even worse when those making these decisions are themselves Shia. As we have always said, this is not Shia vs Sunni. It is America-aligned Shia and Sunni versus Resistance-aligned Shia and Sunni.

It seems the Iraqi leadership has forgotten how much Iran sacrificed, especially in its energy sector, for Iraq. Here comes the reality for those who compare the Wali al-Faqih’s Resistance leadership with any scholar who claims the same authority. Quietism has no logic or sense here. The quietism emerging in Iraq is now showing its side effects at the very core.

The time has come for those who still believe quietism alone can solve everything to confront reality. Take a stand before events drag everyone out of their comfort zones.
