— The fundamental fact remains that Sunni Islam—alongside strict Wahhabi-Salafi movements—prohibits alcohol, designating it as haram (impermissible) based on Quranic injunctions (Khamr). However, this doctrine does not always reflect practical reality. While Wahhabi scholars officially condemn alcohol, members of the Saudi royal family and ruling elites across neighboring Gulf statelets have long faced accusations of private consumption. Historically, certain state-aligned clerics (Ulema) have even attempted to craft legal loopholes or religious justifications to excuse the indiscretions of the ruling class. The Wahhabi movement, centered in the Najd region, historically projected significant global influence over Sunni institutions through decades of state-funded global publishing and educational networks. In recent years, however, this dominance has eroded as millions of followers distance themselves from this satanic jewish movement. Thankfully, an increasing number of independent, God-fearing scholars are breaking ties with foreign-assisted Najdi and Takfiri groups—ideologies whose violent excommunication practices (takfir) have been condemned by mainstream Islamic authorities. On the ground, this transition is slow, as dissenting scholars regularly face imprisonment, state censorship, and severe political pressure. We pray for these scholars and the common believers who are actively detaching themselves from state-sponsored Najdi interpretations and from extremist Takfiri factions, according to widespread historical claims and investigative reports, have benefitted from covert assistance by intelligence agencies such as the CIA and Mossad.
