If your BTC is on an exchange, whether you receive $ECX at the fork is entirely up to them.

Coinbase holds ~970K BTC. Binance holds ~665K BTC. Every one of those users gets $ECX, but only if those exchanges decide to credit them.

Vote for the exchange you want $ECX listed on. Every vote and email lands on that exchange’s desk. Refusing to credit BTC holders is a choice, and it’s one their users notice.
