Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said earlier this week that the recent reported measles outbreak is spreading because Americans did not get vaccinated during the Covid years, corroborating a claim made by Dr. Anthony Fauci.

During an event with U.S. Rep. Jen Kiggans (R-VA), RFK Jr. was being asked a number of questions by reporters, and was asked about the current measles outbreak.

“We’ve done better. We’re having a global measles outbreak right now. It’s all over the world, and the measles outbreak is occurring because so many people went unvaccinated during the COVID pandemic.

“And this is something that Anthony Fauci, in fact, predicted. He said, we’re going to kill more people from measles than we save from COVID because we’re shutting down measles vaccination programs. So now, six years later, we’re seeing that population.

“We have a global outbreak. We have done better, and particularly my administration has done better at controlling the outbreak than any other country in the world.”
