ICFO is offering a postdoctoral position or research engineer position to a
well-qualified, highly motivated and dynamic young scientist who wish to
enhance their scientific career in a friendly and stimulating environment.

The successful candidate will be part of an academic-industry consortium and
will work on the study of existing or new quantum algorithms in problems of
industry relevance, both in optimization and machine learning. This includes
the understanding of the identified problems, the study of the existing
literature on quantum and classical algorithms relevant for these problems,
the simulation of the algorithms on classical computers and the eventual
application in existing quantum hardware.
