Anyways, the plot of this movie is kinda a total nonsense. And not even my love for courtroom plotlines or Amanda Seyfried could help it.

Never once have I imagined that this movie begins LIKE THAT. For some reason since I was a kid this movie was an EPITOME of "Oh that's a movie for adults!" for me. I wanted to watch it desperately when it was everywhere but that's a movie for adults! And now I'm an adult (for a few years already lol and not that this fact stopped me from watching any other movie before) so I figured out this limit doesn't matter anymore. It felt unreal to watch it, like revisiting a dream.

Movie is mid, but the Baby Raindeer plotline is cool and awesome.

One of those film festival movies that would either start or save my day. Will probably forget it, like, by today's evening but it was very very sad and sweet while it lasted.

I need more coming-of-age movies about neurodivergent protagonists.

Welp, though... It was okay. I love the scene of conversation with a drug addict about main character's mother.

YOU TELL HIM... Odlly sexually uneducated for the one who yearns for deviant sex stuff GIRL... What even was her arc supposed to be? Figuring out she's not into penises and not into men at that, so there's that comphet prison she has to break out from, or... Figuring out she's into her best friend? Or...? I am honestly just confused.

All the dreamlike sexual sequences really kinda sucked ass and had me rather confused than excited in any way. They took away any possible kinky seduction thing and left only some odd mockery of a montage like come on, I've had so soooo many hopes for YOU, movie. And what for? I feel like I should've never trusted this movie even a little bit because its core trait is saying "yeah well FUCK IT" and doing something stupid just for the sake of shit and giggles. Sure, it could be your cup of tea but it's definitely not mine. When it tried to be serious it was just to fuck me up me more, when it tried to be horny it was just to point a finger at me and laugh. Exhausting experience.

Main character annoyed me a good bit. The gay work buddy spoke in quips and annoyed me quite much, too. Erika was so insufferable that even IIIII who was waiting to get under some dom's heel wasn't able to simp for her for long enough. Yet once again I stumble upon a pathetic miserable character that is even a more loser than I am while trying to find a femdom movie. BDSM rep almost always ends up in the fucking trenches of absurdity, leaving me more frustrated more than anything. I expected so much MORE and it couldn't even NEARLY be compared to "Pillion" (despite everyone trying to place them together) that actually had something to show and say and share with the viewer. Pillion had me thinking during and after the screening, this movie had me throwing my hands in the air with the desperate scream of WHY!!!!!??? and resenting any thinking whatsoever because it kept becoming unserious every given fucking moment and providing me with no actual plot. 

It was an odd fucking watch. I think I have to kill myself over that farce.

Why did no one tell me it's a gay dark romance movie? Possessive, oddly sexual, with drugging and addiction... And a sprinkle of humiliation. Just as god intended. Perfect representation of abusive relationship and the exact portrayal of abusers we deserve: shriveled up brain-eating monster that isolates the victim from people closest to them, holds anything and everything over the their head, yet has no power without them.

New context regarding the name Kirk made this movie stupidly thrice as funny for me.

Side notes: Adult Education SLAPS. I was scared to death that Patty will be matched with any of the guys and I was ready to scream with joy when she wasn't.

Probably one of the best settings made for "Dystopia where feelings are forbidden and everything is sterile" movie, but still I just can NOT genuinely enjoy it without wincing at the naivete + absolute blandness of the plot.

Perhaps I wouldn't be as nitpicky if it was a lesbian movie tho...

"What was that spell that you wrote on the window?!" scene is insanely cool. And the story Hero told, in general.

Turns out I thought I loved it more than I actually did. Whoopsie! It's still beautiful and sensual though and I adore the main plot. But, dude, do I want to have someone who loves it more to chew it through for me. I want to enjoy it more next time.

Started watching it with my mom but we paused it 20 minutes in and ended up talking all evening away instead. I finished watching it myself and thank GOD because it turned up impossible to stomach. If I was Prometheus, my punishment would probably be watching sapphic couples having infidelity troubles over a MAN just so I would rip my guts out myself. I mean, that's what I did just now. By the half I was just as pissed as Nic. I think I feel for her too much to be in any way chill.

Outdoors dinosaur backrooms if you squint. Cool stuff.

I had the stupidest wide smile when the dad of the family was killed and not because I despised him or something, but because I didn't expect the movie to make a move like that, just bluntly kill a dude, in a middle of the movie, with no epic scene, just chomp and gone. I don't even care that in the end it kinda sorta didn't matter, it was also quite nice. And hilarious. Yeah dad uh uh it is. The story feels a bit undercooked but I enjoyed the watch nonetheless and it was a nice thing at the end of the day!

PS. I'm so attracted to Anne Hathaway and her character here, it's not even funny.

Disturbing. The Cheryl interview piece had me in the tight hold and I think I'll keep getting back to it in my mind. Also, it's trippy as hell to see fake documentaries so realistic because for the entire movie I was sitting and riddling myself with the “Huh.. Is it REALLY not a real story?.. or.. I've never heard of this killer but not like I'm big into true crime.. HUH".

Maybe the monster in your closet is just a loser detective that peaked his success in his childhood. Scary, if you ask me. Send him to Monsters Inc. Maybe there he'll find a path more prosperous... Or get him to Hugh Dancy lookalike contest, it'll work too.

The scene of confession is fucking blood-chilling. Dude took too long to kill himself. How come you make a movie so silly punch me in the gut like that? That's life, I guess.

Oh how I love melancholic and sweet slice of life movies. It was quietly incredible and had me clawing on myself, weeping like a baby. I doubt I've ever seen a movie that shows a path to dying quite as tenderly. In this case, it's not even dying, it's passing away. Heartwrenching in its simplicity. Will have to rewatch it, when the opportunity shows itself.
