Inside from the developers of TON Hold

The work on functionality optimization in the TON Hold wallet is in full swing, but we have an exclusive insight into one of the future updates.

❗️The translation of TONs to ".ton" domains is now working in testnet.

Simply put: it will be possible to translate TONs and custom tokens to named addresses like "durov.ton" - instead of entering a classic address.

This will greatly simplify and speed up transaction transfers, and it will be even more pleasant to work with TON.

Waiting for mainnet to appear 🔥

TON Hold appeared on Google Play

Non-custodial TON Hold Wallet, which we mentioned in the posts above here and here is now available for download on Google Play.

The wallet application can be downloaded for android smartphones, a version for tablets is also available.

Now there is access to TON Hold both through the web version and the mobile app, which makes it stand out.

Further optimization will continue.

TON DNS | Domain Names ".ton"

⚡️ A new feature in the TON blockchain — domain names that can be used as a short address for transactions.

The addresses will have a similar appearance: "tondns.ton," "bobby.ton," and so on.

🛍 Domain names are used like NFT, meaning they can be stored on a wallet balance, sent, bought and put up for sale on NFT marketplaces.

The emergence of TON DNS should greatly simplify transactions, as well as fill the secondary market with interesting offerings.

TON Moon Explorer on Google Play

⚡️One of the best guides on TON, which we told you about in one of our posts, appeared on Google Play.

You can already download the app for your Android smartphones, and a tablet version is also available (which we think is very cool).

This means you can now easily track token transfer transactions on the TON blockchain from the app.

The app is available for download, optimization will continue, and new custom tokens will be added in time.

Update on TON Hold Wallet

⚡️The non-custodial TON Hold wallet has received a fresh update.

The functionality includes the ability to quickly import popular custom tokens on The Open Network blockchain. You can also hide unnecessary tokens from the list of tokens displayed on the main screen.

In addition, a search page appeared in the wallet. In the future the list of custom tokens will be expanded, and optimization work will continue with the tokens already available.

Custom tokens on TON appeared in Tonkeeper

In the mobile app Tonkeeper it is now possible to view the balances of custom tokens on the TON blockchain — TGR, REDC and others.

⚙️ The following functions are available: sending and receiving tokens, as well as viewing transfer transactions.

Be careful: you need a small amount of TON on your balance for transactions, as the fee for transfers is charged in TONCoin.

Premium in the Ton Moon bot

We already told you about the features of the Ton Moon bot in the post above, in addition to the convenient free functionality, where rate monitoring and more are available, there are additional paid features.

❕ In the premium version of @TonMoonBot, it is possible to set a notification of the desired token price not only in the app, but also with an SMS alert to your phone.

Another bonus is participating in NFT Meta Panthers giveaways, the more months you have a subscription, the higher your chance of getting an NFT.

⏳Subscriptions are available for 1, 3 and 12 months at prices of 1 TON, 2.9 and 9.9 TON, respectively.

The bot also displays how many days the premium subscription lasts.

If you can win NFT - the price of the subscription is well worth it.

How can TON haters make money?

The Open Network team is reverent about security issues and tries to promptly fix bugs.

❕ However, there is an open-ended vulnerability search program - TON Bug Bounty, where anyone who finds a vulnerability or a significant bug will get money.

You can get up to $100,000 depending on how serious the vulnerability is.

Enthusiastic TON programmers or inveterate TON haters can try to prove to everybody, that TON is bad and earn some extra money :)

Just kidding, of course. We know that TON is in any case one of the best projects in the crypto-space 💎

Where to watch TON transactions and transfers

We are always sharing with you products and services that can be useful when working in The Open Network ecosystem.

⚡️One such service is the TON Moon Explorer tonmoon.org/explorer

This is a explorer where you can watch transactions, tokens/tokens on TON and their transfers are displayed. TGR, KOTE tokens are already integrated and REDC is coming soon.

Explorer finds the right address by keywords, e.g.: NFT project, service, store, donation, and so on.

TON Moon is on TonApp, which adds credibility to the service. More than 50,000 addresses have already been indexed, which shows the demand from users.

TON celebrated its anniversary 🥳

Recently it became known that the number of TON subscribers in social services exceeded 2.5 million.

Recall that most of it is concentrated in Telegram, where the active audience of more than 500 million people.

2.5 million of TON's total audience is only 0.5% of Telegram's audience. But I wonder how much these half percent will increase when TON becomes the messenger's official currency?

💸 And even more interesting, how much will the rate and demand for TON, and even its alts/tones, such as the same TGR, increase?

Write your versions in the comments ;)

TONCoin is being accepted for payment on websites

Mass adoption of TON is proceeding slowly but surely. Site sites.reviews is a review service, where every user can express his/her opinion about any site or Internet resource, as well as read the reviews already left.

Payment in cryptocurrency TONCoin is accepted on the site of this service.

It's the most convenient integration, which is logical to be adopted by other sites soon. Now there is an acute issue of payment on some sites that have stopped accepting payments from Russian cards or rubles at all.

Payment in TON can solve this problem and allow you to continue to use the service you are interested in.

Explanatory and reassuring post 🌴

The chart shows the Bitcoin exchange rate over the years. It has collapsed several times, but despite that it has been going up.

The drop in TON rate has nothing to do with it being a scam project or for local reasons.

All cryptocurrencies are falling: Bitcoin, Etherium, many others and TON is no exception.

But this is a temporary phenomenon, after which there will be an increase. This is an axiom that you just have to accept.

Have patience and it will pay off 🌤

⚡️ TonHub users can create their own cryptocurrency

Cryptocurrency TonHub has been generous with updates lately, just recently it was possible to see its custom tokens on the balance, for example, TGR and KOTE, as a new update has already been released.

⚙️ This time, the developers have launched an app-based token builder. Soon users will be able to create tokens without programmers through the wallet interface.

Released tokens will be based on TON, which means they will comply with TON DeFi, hence, in the future will be able to trade on DEX exchanges, for example.

Pavel Durov announced Telegram Premium 💎

Earlier in one of the posts we told you that there would be VIP options in Telegram. So, Pavel Durov in his tg-channel published a post in which he announced the release of premium Telegram.

❗️Subscription to such a version of Telegram, of course, will be paid. And in all likelihood, the payment will be made in the cryptocurrency TONCoin.

In the post, Durov noted that Telegram for 9 years provided users with more free functionality than any other existing messenger. He also said that many people have asked to increase the limits, and the introduction of premium subscriptions is a forced measure, because it is almost unrealistic to increase them for everyone.

When it is officially announced that subscription is possible in TON, more than 500 million users of the messenger, at least, will learn about this currency, and at most, will start to acquire it, which will have a positive impact on the TON 📈

💰The TON grant and sponsorship program. What is it and why?

In a previous post we briefly mentioned the emergence of grants at TON, today we want to talk about it in more detail.

Over the past few months, there have been a lot of questions to the TON Foundation community about whether they will support teams that create products on TON.

⚡️ Eventually, developers were heard and several support programs have emerged, namely:

Grant Program — will support open source projects that help develop the TON universe and carry public benefit;

Sponsorship Program — will support events that promote and strengthen the TON community. For example, hosting events, hackathons, and training programs.

TON Ideas Hunt — will seek worthwhile ideas for TON grants and ideas to improve the program itself.

Allocated 170 million TONCoin to conduct the programs.

📝If there is anyone among our audience interested in applying for grants, you can submit an application via the web form ton.org/grants or bot @tonfunding_bot.

Varlamov's new issue features a TON
▶️ Time Code: 16:02

Just a couple of months ago, we told you about a popular blogger with an audience of millions, Dmitry Larin, talking about the benefits and features of TON.

And today, in a big issue about cryptocurrency, blogger Ilya Varlamov on his YouTube channel fully dissected the topic of The Open Network.

⚡️There's a summary of what transpired in the issue about TON:

— In 2018, Pavel Durov founded the TON project, which was to issue its own cryptocurrency, GRAM. Thanks to investors, the project raised $1.7 billion, but the authorities, just before its launch, succeeded in freezing the project and then shutting it down.

— One of the most powerful differences between TON and other cryptocurrencies is its integration into Telegram, which has an audience of over 500 million people. There are no cryptocurrencies that can boast of such marketing potential at an early stage of development.

— Thanks to Telegram integration, TON became an elegant way to monetize, it became possible to send TON to another person directly in the messenger without paying a commission or being listed in a bank.

— Despite the "folded" cryptocurrency GRAM, the TON project lives and develops already with a team that is not associated with Durov. According to official data.

— The project now issues a currency, TONCoin, which is launched on the source code of the Durov brothers. The launch was in the fall of 2021 and immediately gained popularity. The current market capitalization of TONCoin is ~$2 billion.
