عَنْ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلِيٍّ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام):
مَنْ أَرَادَ مِنْكُمُ التَّزْوِيجَ فَلْيُصَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَ لْيَقْرَأْ فِيهِمَا فَاتِحَةَ الْكِتَابِ وَ (يس)، فَإِذَا فَرَغَ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ فَلْيَحْمَدِ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى، وَ لْيُثْنِ عَلَيْهِ، وَ لْيَقُلْ:

اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِي زَوْجَةً وَدُوداً، وَلُوداً، شَكُوراً، غَيُوراً؛ إِنْ أَحْسَنتُ شَكَرَتْ، وَإِنْ أَسَأْتُ غَفَرَتْ...

Imam Ali (peace be upon him) said:
Whoever among you wishes to get married, let him perform two units (rak‘ahs) of prayer and recite Surah al-Fatiha and Yā Sīn in them. After completing the prayer, let him praise and glorify Allah and then say:

"O Allah, grant me a loving, fertile, grateful, and protective wife—one who thanks me when I do good, and forgives me when I err..."
