وَ قَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ:
مَنْ زَوَّجَ كَرِيمَتَهُ بِفَاسِقٍ نَزَلَ عَلَيْهِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ أَلْفُ لَعْنَةٍ، وَ لاَ يَصْعَدُ لَهُ عَمَلٌ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ، وَ لاَ يُسْتَجَابُ لَهُ دُعَاؤُهُ، وَ لاَ يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَ لاَ عَدْلٌ.

The Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) said:
Whoever marries his noble daughter to a corrupt man—upon him descends a thousand curses every day. None of his deeds will ascend to the heavens, his prayers will not be answered, and neither obligatory nor voluntary acts will be accepted from him.
