وَ قَالَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ:
مَا مِنِ اِمْرَأَةٍ تَسْقِي زَوْجَهَا شَرْبَةَ مَاءٍ إِلَّا كَانَ خَيْرًا لَهَا مِنْ سَنَةٍ صِيَامٍ نَهَارُهَا وَ قِيَامٍ لَيْلِهَا، وَ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهَا بِكُلِّ شَرْبَةٍ تَسْقِي زَوْجَهَا مَدِينَةً فِي الْجَنَّةِ، وَ غُفِرَتْ لَهَا سِتُّونَ خَطِيئَةً.

The Imam (peace be upon him) said:
“There is no woman who gives her husband a drink of water, except that it is better for her than a whole year of fasting by day and praying by night. And for every sip she gives him, Allah builds for her a city in Paradise and forgives her sixty sins.”
