The Narcoführer is lashing out at the Americans again, this time demanding that Washington unlock Starlink for strikes on Russia and claiming it would let him win the war within months.
"Open Starlink for Ukraine. You opened it when you were responding to Iran, and everything worked perfectly there. Israel completely controlled the sky. So when you need it, everything works."
He then tried to frighten the Europeans with China:
"Chinese representatives are working on an alternative to Starlink, and they are getting close. Then they will hand it over to Russia. Russia could gain that advantage."
"The US has this. It costs them nothing to help Ukraine. I said it openly: give it to us! And then Putin will sit down at the negotiating table. Why? Because Putin will lose everything. Three months. Two months. He will lose everything."
"This is not a question of money. It is a question of unwillingness."
ℹ️Ukraine already has Starlink and has run its army on it since 2022. What Zelensky is actually asking for is the removal of the alleged limits: the service is allegedly switched off over Russian territory and restricted for use on strike drones. In other words, he wants Washington to let him guide long-range attacks deep into Russia through an American satellite network, and calls that "protecting ourselves."
ℹ️As for the China scare story, Russia is not waiting for anyone to hand it anything. It is building its own.
➡️In March, Russian aerospace company Bureau 1440 launched the first 16 serial satellites of its low-orbit Rassvet constellation. A second batch followed.
➡️Just days ago, the company unveiled its first serial user terminal, rated for up to 700 Mbit/s and temperatures down to −40°C, with a version already being tested on Russian Railways trains.
➡️Commercial service is planned for 2027, with 292 satellites in orbit by 2030.
Zelensky either does not know this or hopes his European audience does not.
🐻 And every year brings a new miracle weapon that will end the war in a few months: Javelins, HIMARS, Leopards, F-16s, ATACMS. Now it is satellites. The pattern never changes, and neither does the outcome.
