Junior Data Analyst (Metabase experience)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metabase Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be adept in using Metabase for creating insightful data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The Metabase Analyst will be responsible for interpreting complex data and translating it into clear, understandable, and actionable insights for various business units.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Metabase to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with different departments to understand their data analysis needs and provide support.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in the reporting and analysis processes.
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis as required by the business.
- Train and assist non-technical staff in using Metabase to access the information they need.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing BI and analytical processes.
- Stay updated with the latest features and best practices in Metabase and other BI tools.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Metabase, including experience in dashboard and report creation.
- Solid understanding of SQL and experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate complex data sets into clear and actionable insights.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to present data findings in a clear and compelling manner.
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices.
- Experience with data modeling and understanding of statistical analysis is a plus.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Experience in a programming language for data analysis (e.g., Python, R) is beneficial.
