Toffee
(recipe from France)

Ingredients:
sour cream (25% fat content) — 400g
sugar — 400g
butter — 40g

Preparation:
Put sour cream in a saucepan with a thick bottom and add sugar. If desired, you can add vanilla sugar.

Put the pan on the lowest heat. Cook the sour cream mixture, stirring constantly, until it changes color to light brown and becomes thick.

To check the readiness, drop a little mass on a cold plate and cool. If the consistency suits, then you don't need to cook anymore.

Remove the pan from the heat. Immediately add the butter, mix quickly until smooth.

Cover the mold with good quality parchment and pour the hot mass into it. Level it up. Allow the mass to completely solidify.

Cut the resulting layer into squares or rectangles. Homemade toffee on sour cream is ready to serve.

Insanely delicious and everyone's favorite recipe is ready!
