😃 #SOL Is the co-founder of Solana preparing a new DEX?

A project was found on GitHub, which Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko is working on.

It seems that he is creating a decentralized exchange for perpetual futures (Perpetual DEX) directly on Solana.

If this is confirmed, the market will receive:
⊹ Native platform for trading Hyperliquid futures, but on Solana
⊹ Powerful inflow of liquidity and on-chain volumes.
⊹ A new turn in the Solana DeFi ecosystem.

🇨🇳 The Chinese authorities have slowed down the crypto initiatives of technogiants.

✦ Ant Group (Alibaba) and JD.com suspended the launch of stablecoins in Hong Kong after instructions from Chinese regulators.

✦ Supervisors, including the People’s Bank of China, have warned that private currencies undermine the state’s monopoly on money emission and can compete with the digital yuan (e-CNY).

✦ This cooled Hong Kong’s ambitions to become a test site for yuan stablecoins, which were supposed to promote the internationalization of RMB.

✦ Former head of the Central Bank of China Zhou Xiaochuan previously called for «be careful» and reminded that stablecoins easily turn into a tool of speculation.

✦ While the United States and Hong Kong are betting on tokenization and stablecoins, China clearly chooses a different path - full control and development of the digital yuan instead of decentralized money.

🇨🇳The founder of Huobi launches a fund to purchase #ETH for $1,000,000,000.

Li Ling, the creator of the Huobi exchange and the head of Avenir Capital, teams up with the legends of the Asian crypto world Shen Bo (Fenbushi Capital), Xiao Feng (HashKey Group) and Tsai Wensheng (Meitu) to launch the Ethereum Trust for $1,000,000,000.

The goal is to provide institutional access to Ethereum and related assets, similar to how Bitcoin ETF opened the way for institutional money in BTC.

The announcement of the project is expected in 2-3 weeks.

Ethereum Trust can become an analogue of Grayscale for Asia.

Recall that Li Ling sold Huobi to Justin San after the ban on crypto trading in China and is now building a «clean» institutional empire from Hong Kong.
