⚠️ BLAST OFFICIALLY SHUTS DOWN, LESS THAN 3 YEARS AFTER LAUNCH

Once holding over $2.2B in TVL, the L2 now admits its operating costs exceed revenue, with no credible path to economic sustainability.

Blast raised $20M from Paradigm, Standard Crypto and others, launched early access in Nov 2023, and went live on mainnet in Feb 2024. On Oct 2, 2026, the project announced it's winding down.

What you need to know:
- Withdraw your assets to Ethereum mainnet by Oct 26 via the Blast interface
- Withdrawals will pause for about a week, then the withdrawal delay drops to 24h
- After Oct 26, assets remain withdrawable, but only by interacting directly with the bridge contracts on L1
- TVL is down 98%+ from its peak, and the BLAST token has lost about 98% since launch

Lesson: an L2 without real users is just a big TVL number.

⚠️ If you still have assets on Blast, withdraw early, and only follow instructions from Blast's official X account. Shutdowns like this are prime time for scams.
