📌 CIRCLE & TETHER FREEZE $318K - JUST A DROP IN THE BUCKET AGAINST BITGET'S $387M HACK

Attackers exploited a flaw in Bitget's wallet backend to drain ~$387.5 million on Sept 24, but managed to swap most of it into ETH (unfreezable) before Circle and Tether could lock the wallet - leaving the two issuers able to block just $318,000, while Bitget has pledged to cover the full loss from its $464M user protection fund.
