📍 AMA Recap — GMTrade

We just wrapped up an insightful AMA session with the GMTrade team, where we explored how they’re building a decentralized trading platform focused on transparency, efficiency, and self-custody.

One of the highlights of the discussion was GMTrade’s Pull-Based Oracle architecture which is a design that prioritizes both security and accurate price execution.

Instead of relying on a single price feed, the process works in multiple verification stages:

• Off-chain price sources provide the latest market data.

• An Oracle System signs and validates every price update before it’s used.

• A Keeper submits the signed data onchain.

• The Main Program executes trading logic only after receiving the verified price.

• Finally, a dedicated Verifier Program confirms the signature before the price is accepted for trading.


This layered approach helps ensure that every trade is executed using authenticated market data rather than unverified information, improving transparency and reducing the risk of inaccurate pricing.

Beyond the oracle architecture, the AMA also covered GMTrade’s broader vision of delivering a decentralized trading experience where users remain in control of their assets while benefiting from efficient execution, robust infrastructure, and an expanding ecosystem.

Why custody, compliance, and settlement determine the success of tokenized finance.

Tokenizing a real-world asset is only the first step. The real challenge begins after the token is created. Without secure custody, regulatory compliance, and efficient settlement, even the highest quality asset can struggle to attract investors.
