IRAS (Singapore's tax agency) new framework: crypto-asset service providers must collect user data and report transaction info, data collection to begin in 2027
• Full trade surveillance from 2027: Exchanges must track and aggregate every user's crypto-fiat trades, crypto-to-crypto trades, retail payments >USD 50k, and withdrawals (including transfers to self-custody/unknown wallets)
• Auto-reporting to tax authorities from 2028: All that data goes to IRAS, then gets automatically exchanged with the user's tax residence jurisdiction -> meaning your trading volumes and offramp activity become visible to your home tax authority
