with my limited understanding of feminism debate, i can only sum this as jealousy/envy

okay when i do it, but not when she does and it might specifically be just against Sydney because she seems to have become the ‘sex symbol’ of this era

really interesting period considering just before this there was the Lindsey Clancy debate also regarding consequences of the trial and feminism

words are being diluted through semantic diffusion and pushed by influencers who are deemed as "authoritative figures" of the internet, to the point of acceptance of new definitions no matter how subtle

these volatile definitions are then enforced by echo chambers and algorithms, which means two different people of different algorithms might have different definitions of the same word

we are all technically speaking the same language (english), but our meanings are of our own ecosystems (groups)

if you knew that your work would eventually be detrimental to society or yourself, would you still continue?

eg.
• META employees that are inadvertently training systems that would eventually replace their specific role
• working at a frontier lab that furthers AI research (subjective)
• creation of nuclear weapons or other chemicals/virus/biological weapons
• and others
