looking at the amount of hard shill for cards rn and the respective pa, tells me a lot about risk appetite of participants

you have solana retweeting, engaging, and KOLs also incessantly tweeting about it, but a pretty weak pump relative to what we would have gotten months before

feels like reality is also starting to set in wrt broader participants as we extend the war and rallying

most tickers are getting exit pumps while they still can (look at increase in cex scam pumps) on top of others

i guess in all, there is still money to be made for sure (as we've seen), but i encourage more skepticism and defensiveness (risk management)

there is always tomorrow, but only if you survive today

Outcome markets (HIP-4) are live on mainnet as a limited-feature initial release. As a reminder, outcomes are fully collateralized contracts that settle within a fixed range, useful for applications such as prediction markets and bounded options. They do not involve leverage or liquidations. The initial goal is to validate the technical implementation.

The first market is a recurring binary outcome that settles daily at 06:00 UTC to the BTC mark price on Hyperliquid. See Docs for more: https://hyperliquid.gitbook.io/hyperliquid-docs/trading/contract-specifications#recurring-outcomes. Additional features and markets will be rolled out in stages. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Perp demand is rising. Spot demand is still contracting.

That exact setup appeared in 2022 and preceded the next leg down.

It doesn’t guarantee the same outcome, but structurally, this is a bearish demand signal.

👉 Full breakdown.

Crypto card spending is the next big trend:

Crypto card spending volume has surged +500% since September 2024, now running at $600 million per month.

As a result, stablecoin-linked payment cards are now one of the fastest growing businesses on the blockchain, with 90% of transactions captured by Visa, $V.

Visa's strategy has centered around partnering with emerging infrastructure providers which reduces reliance on traditional sponsor banks.

The growth comes amid the launch of Jupiter Global which returns 4-10% cash back to crypto cards and has seen +660% MoM volume growth in April.

Crypto card adoption is growing.
