💗 One of the biggest surprises for people entering Web3 is the job titles.
They're often very different from what you'd see in traditional tech and at first glance, they don't always tell you what the role actually involves.
For example: • Growth Lead - Focuses on bringing more users, increasing adoption, and finding ways to grow a product or ecosystem. • DevRel (Developer Relations) - Helps developers learn, build and succeed with a protocol through education, documentation and community support. • Ecosystem Lead - Works closely with partners, builders and communities to help the ecosystem expand. • Core Contributor - Someone who plays a key role in moving a project forward. Depending on the team, that could mean writing code, managing operations, conducting research, creating content or supporting the community.
The title is only one small piece of the puzzle.
When reading a job description, ask yourself: • What problem is this company trying to solve? • What skills are they actually looking for? • Does that match what I enjoy doing and what I'm good at?
Those answers matter much more than the title itself and they'll help you find opportunities that are genuinely the right fit.
