It tracks the total market cap of all altcoins excluding $BTC and $ETH.

The explosive phase of the altcoin cycle will only start once this index clearly breaks its 2021 all-time high — a level we’ve already tested three times without success.

Back in 2021, when $TOTAL3 broke above the 2018 peak, the real altseason began.
