South Korea has ordered its telecom regulator to block the websites of 27 unregistered crypto exchanges, including KuCoin, BitMart, MEXC, Phemex and BingX, widening a crackdown that hit their mobile apps last year.
Platforms hosted abroad simply get blocked, while any with servers or staff inside Korea face outright service termination.
