Over $86 million has reportedly been drained from Ledger hardware wallets across Ethereum, Tron and Bitcoin, with on-chain analyst Specter tracing stolen funds to hundreds of victim addresses.
Ledger says it's investigating losses tied to a reseller called CryptoBillis in South East Asia and has asked it to pause all sales and shipments while the probe continues.
Anyone who bought a device from CryptoBillis in the last 90 days is urged to avoid setup, or move funds to a new Ledger signer with a fresh seed if already set up.
