Ondo Finance has partnered with BlackRock to tokenize three of the asset manager's model portfolios, preset investing templates that hold baskets of ETFs.
It's the first time these portfolios exist in tokenized, tradable form on the blockchain, marking the latest step in BlackRock's push to bring traditional assets into the crypto-adjacent financial system.
Ondo already runs one of the largest tokenized securities platforms, with over $1 billion in tokenized stocks and ETFs spanning 430+ securities, including its BUIDL-backed OUSG treasury token and its SEC-aligned tokenized version of BlackRock's IVV ETF.
