xStocks provide onchain exposure to well-known stocks and ETFs in a format that supports transfers, composability, and interaction within DeFi. Launched by Backed Finance in 2025, the protocol has attracted backing from Kraken, partnered with Nasdaq, and processed over $25B in combined CEX, DEX, and minting/redemption volume.
