​​Polygon partners with Mastercard to power up username-based transfers

Polygon will support verified username transfers for self-custody wallets, while payment API firm Mercuryo will verify users and issue aliases tied to their onchain identity. The innovation aims to cut transfer mistakes and make crypto tools more accessible for mainstream users.
