Amid the news, $BNB has jumped 5%, reclaiming $1,150 mark. As part of a landmark plea bargain in November 2023, CZ stepped down as CEO of Binance. He later served a four-month prison sentence in 2024 after pleading guilty to U.S. anti-money laundering violations.
