Monad announces the closure of its $225M funding round led by Paradigm

Monad, a decentralized Layer 1 smart contract platform, has raised $225M in an investment round led by Paradigm. Additional round participants included Electric Capital and Greenoaks. With the fresh funds in hands, Monad aims to build a layer-1 blockchain to challenge competitors such as Solana and Sui. The project has previously raised $19M in seed funding led by Dragonfly Capital.
