🚨Thomas Sewell and Jack Etlis appeared outside County Court today, speaking about the progression of the Camp Sovereignty court cases, as well as Sewell’s views on the upcoming High Court challenge in September.

In September, Sewell and the White Australia Party will challenge the Federal Government’s decision to prohibit the party under Australia’s new hate-group legislation.

The challenge argues that the legislation burdens freedom of governmental and political communication and gives the executive punitive powers without judicial review. The High Court previously rejected an application for an interim injunction, with the substantive challenge to be heard in September.

🎥 THECRYPTICWIRE spoke directly with Sewell outside court to hear his perspective on both cases and what comes next.

🚨 BREAKING: Nick Reece announces launch of 'Little India' in Docklands📍

Melbourne Lord Mayor Nick Reece has announced plans to launch ‘Little India’ in Docklands, speaking at yesterday’s Indian Independence Day event at Federation Square.

More than $1.2 million has been allocated by the City of Melbourne to progress the project.

The announcement comes as Victoria continues to carry the highest state government debt in Australia, raising concerns about public spending and the priorities of government, councils and whether taxpayer funds are being directed to Victorian interests.

The Indian national anthem was then sung as the Indian flag was raised at Federation Square.

BREAKING — UKRAINIAN REFUGEE FACING DEPORTATION

Political prisoner and Ukrainian refugee Yan Zakharin has announced that he has received clearance to be deported back to Ukraine, with his deportation reportedly scheduled for Wednesday, 12 August 2026.

Yan, 21, fled Ukraine for Australia at the age of 17 following the outbreak of the war.

After mainstream media outlets published footage of the NSN Camp Sovereignty incident, Yan was identified as an attendee. He was arrested on 2 September 2025 and later transferred into immigration detention on 24 December 2025, following the cancellation of his Australian visa by then-Immigration Minister Tony Burke.

Yan spent approximately seven months in immigration detention. During this period, he alleges that he was subjected to humiliation, violence, abuse and poor living conditions.

Yan is now reportedly facing removal to Ukraine on 12 August 2026.
