When the RH chain launched, I was among the first ones that did believe the chain isn't gonna be some temporary hype, but that it was going to last and provide runners the same size/way solana did the last cycle.
Looking at the raw numbers right now (Current snapshot from DefiLlama):
Solana currently sits at $5.72B TVL while Robinhood Chain is at $735M. Solana is still about 7.8x larger in total value locked. The activity gap is much tighter though : 24h DEX volume is $2.35B on Solana versus $1.58B on Robinhood. Even more interesting, Robinhood is generating $2.13M in chain fees compared to Solana’s $836K.
Looking at Solana’s peak during the January 2025 Trump era, DEX volume hit $38B with TVL around $12B. If Robinhood Chain conservatively reaches just half of that peak TVL, we’re looking at roughly $6B. That’s close to a 10x increase from current levels in liquidity expansion, so all these plays sitting at 200-300m range would potentially run to billys. And this is the conservative view imo, tokenized equities are expected to bring an entirely new wave of participants on chain. They’re already onboarding around 30 new users every minute, and most of the ecosystem coins are still relatively cheap given the activity already happening.
