I’m proud to work alongside President Trump and his administration as we focus on putting Americans first. Making America great again means making it affordable again and I’m working to lower costs, expand housing access, and keep our economy moving for families.

Another casework win for Florida’s 7th District 🇺🇸

When a constituent came to our office facing delays and uncertainty with a federal agency, we got to work, cutting through red tape, making calls, and staying on it until we delivered results.

That’s what my office is all about: showing up, following through, and never backing down when it comes to serving the people of Florida's 7th District.

If you need help with a federal agency, we’re here for you. Reach out through our website and let us get to work.

President Trump has constitutional authorities under Article 2 executive privileges, under existing AUMFs, and to carry out military strategic strikes for the purpose of protecting Americans from imminent threat.

The regime had options and they chose terrorism. I stand with President Trump’s decision as it was necessary to stop 47 years of terror. This however is not Iraq or Afghanistan and we will not have the forever wars of previous administrations.

President Trump gave the Iranian people a potential pathway to secure their freedom. He ended a 47 year war this Islamic terrorist regime had declared on America and the west.

I’m proud to stand with the hardworking small businesses across Florida’s 7th District by voting in favor of H.R. 3679, the Small Business Artificial Intelligence Advancement Act.

This bill directs NIST to develop practical, technology-neutral resources that help our local entrepreneurs inFL-07 to address AI concerns, drive innovation, and compete in today’s fast-evolving economy, without burdensome mandates.

I'm proud to deliver real, long-term support to the job creators and family-owned businesses that power FL-07 communities.

Recently in Florida, ICE arrested an illegal aliens previously convicted of homicide, sexual assault, robbery, among others.

This is why I support President Trump’s mission to secure the border and protect the nation, including Florida’s 7th District.

China and other adversarial nations are aggressively working to control the world’s critical minerals and energy resources, putting America’s energy security at risk.

That’s why I voted YES on H.R. 3617, the Securing America’s Critical Minerals Supply Act.

This bill ensures the Department of Energy actively identifies supply chain vulnerabilities, reduces our reliance on foreign adversaries, strengthens domestic production, and advances recycling and alternative technologies.

If critical minerals power our grid, our defense systems, and our economy, then America must control its own supply.

Energy security is national security and I will always fight to keep America strong, independent, and secure.

Germany, Canada, India, and Brazil enforce stronger election safeguards than the United States. That fact should concern EVERY American.

Patchwork systems, mass mail-in ballots, and weak voter verification invite fraud, foreign interference, and errors that undermine trust. That’s why I support the SAVE Act, to strengthen voter verification, secure voter rolls, and enforce election law.

Free, fair elections require paper trails and ballots cast and received by Election Day. Protecting elections protects America.

I introduced the United States Capitol Police Reserve Fund Act of 2026 to ensure Capitol Police officers never miss a paycheck because of a government shutdown.

Our officers protect the Capitol every day, no matter the political chaos in Washington. This commonsense, temporary reserve fund would only be used during a lapse in appropriations to cover pay and essential operations, then any unused funds are returned to the Treasury.

Public safety and national security should never be collateral damage of political gridlock. I’ll always stand with the men and women who protect us.

America is governed by the Constitution, not Sharia law and never will be. I joined the Sharia Law Free Press Conference to stand for freedom, equality, and the rule of law, making clear that no ideology, religious or otherwise, stands above American law. If you look at places where Sharia has been implemented, it has shown to not be compatible with freedom or equality.

Wherever Sharia law been implemented, it has shown to replace individual rights with ideological control, suppresses free speech, subjugates women, and punishes dissent.

As a nation, we must be clear-eyed and unapologetic. I’m proud to stand with my colleagues in this effort, and I will continue working to ensure America remains free, sovereign, and governed by the Constitution alone.

I’m proud to support small businesses across FL-07. My office has the opportunity to visit Jeff’s Bagel Run in Altamonte Springs, a new franchise serving boiled-never toasted- bagels, specialty coffee, and unique spreads.

In Congress, I’m fighting to cut red tape, expand opportunities, and help entrepreneurs like Jeff grow and create jobs right here in our community.

As cold weather is expected across Florida’s 7th District, encourage residents to take precautions early:

- Cover sensitive plants
- Insulate pipes; let faucets drip
- Bring pets indoors
- Dress in layers; check on seniors and vulnerable neighbors
- Use space heaters safely; never use grills indoors
- Use local warming centers if needed

Be prepared and look out for one another. 🍊☃️

My office is delivering real results for FL-07, leading the state in constituent services and cutting through federal red tape on behalf of the people we represent.

We have secured $88,687,022 in recovered funds for constituents from federal agencies, including Social Security, Veterans Affairs, the IRS, the SBA, the Treasury, and FEMA. That includes $53,104,580 returned through Social Security, $18,494,882 from Veterans Affairs, and $3,889,397 from the Office of Personnel Management.

In addition, my office has resolved 5,373 constituent cases, including 778 with the VA, 800 with USCIS, and 634 related to passport services. I remain committed to delivering real results for seniors, veterans, small businesses, disaster survivors, federal retirees, and hardworking families who turn to us for help navigating Washington.

If Congress fails to do its job and fund the government on time, Members of Congress should earn virtually nothing starting day one of a shutdown and for the rest of that session.

The American people don’t get paid when the government shuts down and neither should we.

That’s why I introduced the FUBAR Act, the Failed to Uphold the Budget? Allowance: Reduced Act.

With a potential government shutdown looming, Washington politicians shouldn’t be shielded from the consequences of their own failure.

As we begin a new year, I want the people of Florida’s 7th District to be clear about my goals and priorities.

As your congressman, my focus is leading with results and delivering for our district, supporting veterans and military families, strengthening public safety, protecting retirement security, securing the border, lowering energy costs, and holding Washington accountable.

These priorities will guide my work in the months ahead as I continue directing resources, funding, and responsive constituent services back to the district and ensuring federal agencies work for the people we serve.

H.R. 1663, the Veterans Scam and Fraud Evasion (VSAFE) Act of 2025, passed with my support, to protect veterans and military families here in Florida’s 7th District from scams and fraud.

This bill strengthens protections at the VA by establishing a dedicated officer focused on fraud prevention, reporting, and rapid response, while also extending key VA home loan fee rates so veterans can continue to access affordable homeownership opportunities.

Our Central Florida veterans earned every benefit through their service, and I’ll always fight to ensure those benefits are protected and delivered with integrity.
