I feel like I made a mistake by not including anything lighthearted or simple in my list. Every book in this list is heavy and highly literary (most of them are historical) and although they're short, they can very much diminish my foundagain interest in reading, especially since I will most likely be reading The End of August by Yu Miri for the entire season.
I will check the books I have and rewrite the list.
