#CORTIS. Hello, Coeries! We hope you guys doing well. We have a few updates regarding CortisFess’ systems and comment section. First, our official bot has been changed from @CorfessBot to @CortisfessBot. Starting from now, all criticsm or related will be handled through @CortisfessBot. Meanwhile, @CorfessBot has been repurposed as our official Partnership Bot and will be used for partnership-related matters.

Secondly, our comment section is now using Request Admin Approval. For those who would like to join the commet section, please temporarily add a clear identifier to your account bio, so our admins can easily verify and filter requests. Once your account has been accepted into the base’s comment section, the identifier may be removed.

#CORTIS. Hello, Coeries! We would like to announce the implementation of several new systems and sessions within CORTISFESS. But before that, thank you to everyone who participated in the recent CORTISFESS voting. We sincerely appreciate the time and input you have given throughout the process. For now, the voting period has now officially closed. Following the conclusion of the voting, CORTISFESS will now proceed with the implementation of its updated system, the newly introduced sessions are as follows:
✱ #RollCall — a session for sharing your character’s biography and profile.
✱ #TalkBack — a question-based session.
✱ #ExtraMile — a collection of mini event with different concepts and activities.
✱ #DailySnap — a session for sharing photographs that represent something from the participant’s day.
✱ #TimeStamp — a monthly recap session, Eries may submit up to four meaningful photographs with their partner or friends.
✱ #WordedMelody — a space for writing and sharing a personal message for something meaningful with song.

In addition, we have prepared a public archive & session explanation channel to provide easier access to the applicable provisions and information regarding CORTISFESS.

And with the implementation of these Special Sessions, the function of our Regular Sessions will also be adjusted. Regular Sessions will now be directed primarily toward promotion and connection purposes.

✱ #Keonho: Used for seeking mutuals, including SFS and contact exchanges.
✱ #Martin: Used for seeking companionship, including friends and family.
✱ #Juhoon: Used for seeking assistance, recommendations, or answers to questions.
✱ #Seonghyeon: Previously used for sharing personal stories. This hashtag will now be used for seeking group-based connections, including circles, paguyuban, family paguyuban, dorms, and squads.

This adjustment is intended to establish a clearer distinction between Regular Sessions and Special Sessions. We hope that each session can be utilized according to its designated purpose and provide a more organized experience for all subscribers. Thank you for your attention and continued participation.

GUIDE FOR MEDIA.

1. All media submissions must come from free and publicly accessible platforms, such as Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, and similar platforms.

2. The use of scanned media from physical albums, photocards, magazines, or similar physical merchandise is strictly prohibited.

3. AI-generated or AI-manipulated media is not allowed.

4. Media taken from paid or membership-based platforms, such as Weverse, Bubble, FANS, fromm, V LIVE, and similar applications, is strictly prohibited.

5. Pinterest is allowed, but please check the original source first. Since Pinterest may contain reposted or exclusive content, make sure the media was not originally taken from a paid, private, or prohibited source before using it.

6. Fansite media, fanart, fansign media, and fancams are not allowed if there is no watermark in it.

7. Media from prohibited sources must not be used, reposted, or submitted, even if the media has been edited or modified.

Let’s get to know more about
IC, OOC & MUN!

If you’re new to roleplay, you may have come across terms like IC, OOC, and MUN. Don’t worry, they’re actually quite simple once you understand the difference between the character and the person behind it.

01 — IC / IN CHARACTER
IC means you’re speaking or acting as your character. Everything you post should generally fit the character’s personality, background, and story.

For example, if your character is a university student, saying:
“Just finished my class. That professor was terrifying…”

would be considered IC because it belongs to your character’s world.

For IC menfess, you don’t need to add a special marker as long as the context is clear. However, being IC does not mean you can ignore CORTISFESS rules. Content that violates the rules will still be moderated.

02 — OOC / OUT OF CHARACTER
OOC means you’re speaking as yourself, not as your character. It can be used to talk about your real-life activities, communicate personally with other roleplayers, or discuss things outside your character’s world.

Example:
“[] I have class tomorrow morning, I’m going to sleep first. Goodnight everyone!”

Brackets or other markers are commonly used to indicate OOC, but the format may vary depending on the community’s rules.

Remember, OOC refers to the interaction, while brackets are simply a way to signal that you’re speaking outside your character.

03 — MUN / MUNDANE
MUN, short for mundane, refers to the real person behind the character.

Simply put:

Character = the persona you play
Mun = the person playing that persona

If your character is a university student named A, then A is the character. The person managing the account and deciding what A does is the mun.

⭐️ A quick way to remember:

IC — “This is my character speaking.”
OOC — “This is me speaking.”
MUN — “This is the person behind the character.”

Once you understand the difference, RP conversations become much easier to follow! Don’t worry if you’re still learning. Take your time, enjoy the experience, and remember to respect everyone’s boundaries between their IC and OOC spaces.
