Today's fact: Hibernation mode, is still present in our pcs that too in 2026. We know that Hibernating pcs can cause our ssds lifespan to decrease due to writing and deleting huge files which were stored in ram.. But hdds aren't affected by hibernation mode because they are built by magnetic materials to store data whereas in ssds the Writing data requires changing the electrical charge inside the cells. After many thousands of program/erase cycles, the cells become less reliable..

Oops, looks like wireless ADB is somehow too convenient to access and your granny will use it to bypass the 24h cooldown and install malware 🤯

Today's fact: When you store all your data into an SSD and store it in a box for more than 2 years, your data is lost.

But if you store your data in hdd, your data is saved for many years but the mechanism might not work to retrieve

To prevent the ssds not to erase data, you are supposed to just give some electricity to the ssds every 6 months to make sure the flow of electrons isn't stopped

Google officially drops support for Android 6 Marshmallow after 11 years

As of yesterday, Google has officially pulled the plug on Android 6. This means the OS will no longer receive Play Protect updates and will not be included in the new APK program. Having been supported for exactly 11 years, it goes down as the longest-supported version in Android history. Google Play Services is now only supported on Android 7 and above.

Source: https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/9037938?hl=en

Google also made changes to several other applications yesterday. YouTube now requires Android 10 and above, meaning Android 9 will no longer receive YouTube updates. The Google app's minimum requirement jumped from Android 9 directly to Android 11, and core apps like Gmail now require at least Android 7 and above.
