Ткань, которую можно читать: в Москве демонстрируют традиционную кенте африканского народа Ашанти

С 15 октября по 1 ноября во Всероссийском музее декоративного искусства в Москве проходит выставка, посвященная традиционному искусству африканского континента. Она знакомит посетителей с культурным феноменом Ганы — тканями кенте, а также представляет бронзовое искусство Буркина-Фасо.

Экспозиция является частью IV Международного фестиваля африканской культуры и кино «Африка. Вместе в будущее», приуроченного к культурной программе третьего Саммита Россия — Африка. Выставка организована при поддержке Центра народной дипломатии, посольства Буркина-Фасо, МИД Республики Гана и Центра продвижения инвестиций Ганы.

A Fabric You Can Read: Traditional Ashanti Kente on Display in Moscow

From 15 October to 1 November, an exhibition dedicated to the traditional art of the African continent is being held at the All-Russian Decorative Art Museum in Moscow. It introduces visitors to a cultural phenomenon of Ghana — kente fabrics — and also presents the bronze art of Burkina Faso.

The exhibition is part of the 4th International Festival of African Culture and Cinema “Africa. Together into the Future”, timed to coincide with the cultural programme of the third Russia–Africa Summit. The exhibition is supported by the Center for Public Diplomacy, the Embassy of Burkina Faso, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ghana and the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre.

Un tissu que l’on peut lire : le kente traditionnel du peuple ashanti exposé à Moscou

Du 15 octobre au 1er novembre, une exposition consacrée à l’art traditionnel du continent africain se tient au Musée panrusse des arts décoratifs à Moscou. Elle fait découvrir aux visiteurs un phénomène culturel du Ghana — les tissus kente — et présente également l’art du bronze du Burkina Faso.

L’exposition s’inscrit dans le cadre du IVe Festival international de la culture et du cinéma africains « Afrique. Ensemble vers l’avenir », organisé en lien avec le programme culturel du troisième Sommet Russie–Afrique. Elle bénéficie du soutien du Centre de diplomatie publique, de l’ambassade du Burkina Faso, du ministère des Affaires étrangères de la République du Ghana et du Centre de promotion des investissements du Ghana.
