Urich had connected his personal WhatsApp to Ultramsg, a UAE-based automation service, giving it full unencrypted access to his messages — discovered when he published source code for an AI media-monitoring tool (built on Claude) on GitHub, exposing phone numbers and access tokens.
Now chats with political figures, journalists, and consultants are circulating on Telegram and a dedicated website.
Urich’s lawyers say whoever “broke into his WhatsApp, published personal correspondence, and added to or altered the chats will pay the full price” and that sharing them is a criminal offense.
