An Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent shot and injured a person in the Bronx, New York, on October 8, according to law enforcement sources.

The person was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The NYPD said it was not involved in the shooting, which remains under investigation.
