I know guys, 90% of you can’t differentiate FLAC and Opus with your eyes closed, yet everyone wants FLAC for streaming 😭

Then you download 1,000 FLAC songs and exploit the backend. Kids, I’m crying.

So I’m thinking of adding a smart output detector in LastWave. It’ll check your current audio output for Hi-Res, Dolby, supported DACs/codecs, etc.

No suitable Hi-Res output? → Opus.

Compatible IEM/DAC/Hi-Res setup? → FLAC.

Same for downloads u need to insert IEM/DAC/Hi-Res setup for enabling flac downloads . This means less useless FLAC traffic and fewer complaints, while I can focus on users actually using proper audio hardware.

Don’t cry kids, it’s just ragebait. I know you’ll still want FLAC while listening through your phone speaker. 💀
