How can recent advancements in distributed computing make old and new mutualist economic practices viable, efficient and convenient?

Pocas is an ongoing research project that speculates on the culture and systems of a network of mutualist self-service convenience stores set in an alternative timeline in contemporary Mexico City.

At a moment where we see attacks to spaces of self-organization and autonomy, discussing these topics collectively is as important as ever.

We have been informed by a Stura representative that they were informed this morning by the Rektorat that no voting will take place today in this meeting.

We are passing around to you right now a paper in which you can sign that you were present in this meeting today, so that we can make it visible that people are willing to take time out of their schedules and show up in such big numbers for the continuation Circa106.

Circa106’s topic will be discussed at 16:30 ~~ we were only informed at 14:00 about this.

We’d love it if you stay till 16:30, but of course feel free to leave if you have other commitments.

Once again, Circa106 is faced with the threat of termination; this time, by the end of December 2024. We find ourselves backed into a corner, so we are reaching out to you.

Dears,

You might have heard that Circa106 is in danger of being shut down by the end of this year.

We as a team are working on an open letter that we will release publicly tonight that tells everything about this situation in full details.

However we come to you now asking for support. Tomorrow in Dechanatstraße at 2 pm there is a public general student assembly meeting, in which students can voice their opinions and vote about certain topics. For matters to be voted on, there needs to be at least 100 people present, so it’s very important to go there in numbers!

If you can make the time to come, that would be super helpful for the continuation of this valuable tradition of student run projects in HfK!
