Risks for Biden include losing the support of key donors and voters. Trump, in turn, is stepping up rhetoric on immigration and the economy, maintaining his lead in the polls.

🇮🇱 Escalation on the Israel-Lebanon border

The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has reached a critical point: dozens of people have died in a week. Israel threatens a full-scale operation, the US and EU call for restraint. The blow to regional stability and the risk of Iran's involvement make the situation one of the most dangerous in the Middle East.

🌎 NATO Summit in Washington: Focus on Ukraine

On the 75th anniversary of the alliance, the leaders agreed to increase military support for Ukraine, including air defense and F-16s. The issue of Kyiv joining NATO remains open. A separate topic is the confrontation with China: the alliance condemned arms supplies to Russia and called on Beijing to engage in dialogue.

Hunger is not just an agricultural problem. It is the result of the intersection of climate, conflict and economics. The transition to renewable energy can reduce the pressure on prices and ecosystems, but without peace and fair solutions, progress will be slow.

Andrea Celeste Saulo, Director of the National Meteorological Service of Argentina, said:

The climate crisis is the defining challenge facing humanity, and it is closely intertwined with the crisis of inequality, as demonstrated by worsening food security, displacement of populations and loss of biodiversity.

📌 2005–2019: The number of people with acute food shortages is 149 million
📌2023: The figure has risen to 333 million (in 78 countries, according to WFP)

3. Phase out coal by 2040 and ban fossil fuel subsidies
