⚡️⚡️🇺🇸 The U.S has announced a large sum of maritime investments today following the announcement of Anduril Industries’ ‘Arsenal-2’. The highlights include:
• The Republic of Korea pledging to invest $150 Billion into American shipbuilding (rehabilitating and building the disused and deindustrialized Philadelphia Navy Yard)
• $25 Billion in new orders for the U.S Coast Guard including a new fleet of 20-25 next-generation cutters, 7 new ‘large, heavy duty’ Icebreakers
• Over $70 Billion in new warship orders, including new orders for additional Arleigh Burke-class Flight III Destroyers, new Virginia-class submarines, etc.
• Plans for nuclear-powered container ships & tanker ships.
