🇨🇳⚡️Baidu launches AI-driven international counterpart of its online encyclopedia

The Chinese internet giant Baidu launched a "project challenging Wikipedia" — the BaiduWiki service.

This is an international version of the online encyclopedia Baidu Baike, which operates on the basis of artificial intelligence. The service was launched on February 9 and is available in five languages — English, Spanish, French, Russian and Japanese.

As reported in a post on the X social network, which was later deleted, the company translated 1 million articles with the help of several AI agents. Baidu Baike itself, launched in 2008, had more than 30 million materials by January. - SCMP/EKD
