HBO released the second teaser for Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone — eight episodes, Christmas 2026 on HBO Max.

The trailer delivers: Sorting Hat, Snape (Paapa Essiedu) radiating trademark disdain, the bathroom troll, Quidditch — and a quick flash of what looks like Voldemort's first appearance.

The adult cast is unconventional: Lithgow as Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as McGonagall, Nick Frost as Hagrid. Which is precisely what makes it interesting.
