🎬 Four years off the screen — look what happens

Tom Holland's Spider-Man last appeared in cinemas in 2021. Four years of absence, apparently, does wonders for demand.

*Brand New Day* has grossed $1.67 billion in 12 days — the second-fastest film ever to cross $1 billion internationally, behind only *Avengers: Endgame*. Its second weekend alone pulled $236M overseas and $145M domestically, numbers most films never see on opening day.

Nolan's *The Odyssey*, meanwhile, crossed $1.104 billion to become his highest-grossing film ever — past both Dark Knight entries — and broke the all-time IMAX record previously held by *Avatar*, per Variety.

Peter Parker spent four years at home. Apparently so did everyone else.
