For anything important, don't ask:
“Does this sound correct?”
Ask:
“What specific claim in this answer would be most important to verify independently?”
Then verify that claim.
You don't need to fact-check every sentence. Find the one piece of information that, if wrong, would change your decision.
That's a much better use of your time.
