You know that habit of dumping everything into ChatGPT because "more context is better"? It isn't.
Context is the information an AI can see while answering you.
Anthropic's engineers now call the job of deciding what goes into that context context engineering.
Their advice is surprisingly simple:
Give the model the smallest amount of useful information needed to do the job.
So instead of giving your coding agent an entire 50,000-line project:
Give it the relevant files, the error, and what you expected to happen.
Less noise. More signal.
Better AI use isn't always about giving the model more. Sometimes it's knowing what to leave out.
