Pirelli’s two-day Barcelona test for next season’s dry-weather compounds took place in extreme heat, with air temperatures reaching 36°C and the track peaking at 58°C.
Day 1 Results:
🇮🇹 Charles Leclerc completed 134 laps and set the fastest time: 1:16.619.
🇬🇧 Jack Crawford covered 146 laps for Aston Martin, with a best time of 1:23.709.
🇺🇸 Technical issues limited Zhou Guanyu and Cadillac to 54 laps. His best time was 1:21.543.
Day 2 Results:
🇮🇹 Arthur Leclerc (Charles Leclerc’s brother) completed 141 laps, setting a best time of 1:17.430.
🇺🇸 Zhou recovered from the opening-day problems, completing 130 laps with a best time of 1:19.321.
🇬🇧 Despite Aston Martin ending its programme early, the test produced a total of 605 laps and 2,817 kilometres. The next Pirelli test will take place at Silverstone after the British Grand Prix, with Mercedes and Williams participating.
